The coffee industry started up in Guatemala in the mid 19th century and flourished in Antigua and Amatitlan. A nutty and spicy roast with medium acidity this coffee is wet milled at the farm and dry milled at the exporters mill. It is roasted light to medium dark for best flavor and aroma. Give Colombian, Costa Rica, Bolivian, Peru and Chiapas Mexico a try if you are looking for complimentary roasts.
