Roasted at 425 degrees this oily bean is just a shade less dark than the Italian Roast. Black Pearl -French Roast is a little tricky because if you over roast it you lose the subtler tones and flavors of the beans. Under roast and customer will not get the taste jolt they expect. The irony is French Roast has the least amount of caffeine of almost any bean. We use "Nature Friendly" Honduras, Bolivian and Mexican Chiapas for their briskness and personality.
